本計劃乃配合行政院衛生署中醫藥委員會中醫藥健康安全防護網計畫為任務導向，因此本計畫預計ㄧ年內達成中草藥有效成分之研究與開發，並建立中草藥活體實驗之標準化研究流程，同時針對有效成份/指標成份標準品，訂定開發程序標準流程（SOP）。

其目的乃希望在政府的媒介下，藉由產學研界的相互合作，建立中藥有效成分之標準分析作業方式，提供國內各界中藥有效成分研究流程規範，並研訂中藥有效成分之開發與操作規格，使中藥材的品質制訂達認可標準，既可保障中藥的品質，也能與國際接軌，並實質促進中藥經濟發展。

糖尿病與腎臟病是我國十大死因第四與第八位。近幾年來，全球糖尿病患發展成末期腎病變的比率正以驚人的速度竄升，如何減緩糖尿病末期腎纖維化的發生已成為當今腎病科學家最大的挑戰。故本計劃首先擬針對中醫藥委員會所規範之23種常用中藥材，初步篩選出抗腎纖維化之有效藥材1-3種，並進一步分離純化並鑑定後，得到量0.1g以上，純度98%以上之指標成份標準品，並以HPLC配合NMR及MS進行純度及檢驗規格確認與建立，另外，亦搭配高通量生物活性篩選平台，鑑定抗腎臟纖維化之有效成份，最後制定標準操作程序供委員會參考。

關鍵字：This proposed project is based on the project "Protection network of Safety and health of Chinease herbal medicine" project conducted by the Committee on Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy. Therefore, this project is to investigate and develop effective components and reference standards, and standardize the procedure for the living specimen experiment of Chinese herbal medicines; to establish the standard procedure of effective components, and to establish the standard operation process (SOP) to provide the instruction and direction. Under the assistance of the Government, the SOP of the supply of Chinese herbal medicines will be established via the cooperation of the industrial, academic, and research circles to provide the standard for the research process of the reference standards of Chinese herbal medicines. In addition, the operation specification of the reference standards will also be established. Thus, the quality of Chinese herbal medicinal products will reach the approval standard. This will be helpful to ensure the quality of the Chinese herbal medicines so that the medicines can be connected with the international market. Furthermore, the Chinese medicine trade will be also promoted.
