腫瘤患者接受放射線治療致放射性皮膚炎中藥治療療效評估

台灣中醫過去數十年來，長期侷限於基層醫療工作，導致中醫醫療對於疾病治療的臨床療效評估、追蹤、統計及臨床教學都無法有效落實，因此造成中醫臨床實證醫學推動的困難，導致長期來中醫藥的效用受到質疑，同時也影響了中醫藥的發展。
放射線治療為治療頭頸部腫瘤與鼻咽癌的主要方法，但是在治療期間，因放射線照射造成急性放射性皮膚炎是無法避免的，而且西醫在目前並無統一的標準治療方法，且各種方法的效果評價也都不一樣。我們過去於長庚醫院中醫住院病房中照護此類病患，嘗試以中藥外用複方「白芷蘆薈凝膠」來治療放射線皮膚炎，似乎可得到不錯的效果，因此本計畫希望透過較嚴謹的研究來證實中藥外用複方「白芷蘆薈凝膠」對放射線皮膚炎的療效，此研究結果對於未來接受放射線治療的患者，可能帶來新的醫療方式及幫助，並且做為未來中醫臨床治療的依據。

Radiotherapy was the main treated principle of the treatment of head and neck cancer, during the treatment, the mostly side effect was radiation-dermatitis and it was still no standard protocol for the treatment of this side effect. We had been tried to use the Aloe cream for prevent the radiation-dermatitis with good effects, this study will evaluated the effects of Aloe cream on the treatment of radiation-dermatitis, the results will help us in clinical treatment.
