中醫藥臨床研究人才培訓課程

中醫藥為我國國粹，有先賢們數千年來和疾病戰鬥中累積的經驗。國人使用中醫藥的歷史更已達千年以上，和西方醫學僅有百年的歷史不可同日而語。但由於中醫藥的生理病理學缺乏試驗之驗證，固常被譏為不合科學而接受度較低。但近幾年來西方醫學的限制逐漸明朗以後，越來越多的人肯定中醫藥的功效而樂於投入研究，但卻因研究法的訓練不足而不知如何進行研究。即使有幸就讀研究所，也因不知如何將西方醫學的研究法，使用在中醫藥研究上而進度有限。當獲得好的研究成果時，常因不知如何發表於國際期刊而扼腕。更因不知如何確保其智慧財產權，以致產業界遲疑不敢投入大量資金研發，僅靠政府國科會及衛生署中醫藥委員會之少許研究經費，研究能量有限。因此本計畫為全方位中醫藥研究人才之培訓課程。第一部分辦理研究方法之訓練。提昇中醫藥人才較缺乏之量化科學方法訓練。除基本臨床流行病學中之研究方法及統計學課程外，並強調進行中醫藥研究時，確認證型所需之一致度分析及因素分析等統計方法。並介紹聯合國世界衛生組織，針對傳統醫學及草藥研究所提出之指引，以達國際接軌。研究方法訓練中並包括國人特有之全民健康保險資料庫之整理與應用方法。邀請曾使用全民健康保險資料庫，發表大量文章之學者分享經驗。第二部分辦理發表國際期刊訓練。提供投稿於國際期刊所需之技巧與經驗。所有課程都辦理成效評估，並在取得演講者授權後，將授課內容製作為數位教材，以利推廣運用。盼能藉由辦理中醫藥研究人才培訓課程，提昇國內中醫藥研究之品質與國際競爭力。

Comprehensive training courses for Traditional Chinese Researcher

Traditional Chinese medicine has thousands years experience of practice. These experiences are much longer than medical practice in the western countries which only has several hundred years. But the Traditional Chinese medicine is based on experience, not experimental. The experimental technique training in traditional Chinese medicine researchers is much shorter than researchers in modern medicine. The scientific paper writing skill is another weak point among traditional Chinese medicine researchers. Since traditional Chinese literature are most in Chinese, not in English. Researchers are not so well-trained in English scientific writing. This project is offering the comprehensive training courses for traditional Chinese researchers in Taiwan. The training course including basic research methodology, WHO: General guidelines for methodologies on research and evaluation of traditional medicine, WHO: Operational guidance: Information needed to support clinical trials of herbal products, clinical sign and symptom validation, agreement, biostatistics, research methodology base on National Health Insurance Database, scientific writing, common deficiency in scientific paper publication. These training courses will offer in northern area as well as in southern area of Taiwan. Course evaluation will be done to collect the response from attendees. Course material will be digitalized to allow more user accessibility after the workshops. This project is expect to build up the research capacity of traditional Chinese researchers in Taiwan.
