半夏炮製技術之研究

半夏最早著錄於神農本草經草部下品,並沿用迄今之重要藥材之一。半夏能燥濕化痰,降逆止嘔,消痞散結,用於痰多咳喘,痰飲眩悸,風痰眩暈,痰厥頭痛,嘔吐反胃,胸脘痞悶,梅核氣症。然而,生半夏有毒,成分對局部有強烈的刺激性,故生食時可使舌、咽、口腔產生麻木、腫痛、流涎反應,重者可引起嘔吐、喉部痙攣、呼吸困難,甚至窒息死亡。故半夏作內服劑時,一般宜用炮製品,或久煎以使有毒成分分解、破壞。
根據中藥典籍記載,半夏有許多不同的炮製方法與產品,例如清半夏、薑半夏、法半夏、半夏曲等。但是,由於欠缺科學方法分析評估半夏炮製的結果,亦無品管控制系統,以致半夏炮製藥材品質參差不齊,也間接引影響到半夏的療效。
本計畫的目的乃探討半夏藥材的炮製,擬了解經炮製程序對半夏藥材毒性和藥理活性的影響,建立清半夏和薑半夏之炮製標準。計畫擬從藥材化學成分、毒性和藥效三方面探討半夏藥材炮製前後的差異,尋找出清半夏和薑半夏的化學和活性指標成分作為半夏藥材炮製規格和品管規格的依據,並建立科學規格系統化炮製製程,以生產品質穩定之清半夏和薑半夏。

The raw Pinellia Rhizoma is toxic. According to the traditional Chinese medical textbook, the raw Pinellia has to be processed in order to remove the toxicity and to improve the pharmacological action. Different processed Pinellia product has different pharmacological effect. The aquatic pinellia is to dig the herb in pure water or water containing 8% alum for 7 days with change everyday. The ginger-pinellia to to boil the aquatic pinellia with ginger juice. The purpose of this study is to compare the component contents, toxicity and pharmacological actions within Pinellia Rhizoma processed with different procedures. From the above analysis, we expect to establish th chemical finger prints fo raw pinellia, aquatic pinellia and ginger-pinellia, and to establish the quality control criteria foe each pinellia process products in ordert to produce consistent pinellia for appropriate medical use.
