中醫藥國際人才之培訓暨中醫藥國際交流平台之建立(2-1)

加入世界衛生大會（WHA）及世界衛生組織（WHO）為國人一致之目標，許多民間團體，如台灣醫界聯盟積極努力推動。唯中醫藥界過去與相關國際傳統醫學組織較少交流，而未參與，因此積極培育中醫藥國際交流人才乃刻不容緩之事。
本計畫為期二年，每年擬開設三學分54小時中醫藥英文研習班，利用週末上課，開設以英文講授之中醫藥課程，鼓勵國內中醫藥學術界、產業界及中醫藥相關科系在學學生修習（包括博碩士班研究生），讓學員習慣於英文環境討論中醫藥內容。
為使更多中醫藥界人士也能參與，本計畫每年也將舉辦二天之「中醫藥國際化研討會」，全部活動以英文進行，會中除邀請數位國內中醫藥之專家學者作特別演講外，也將邀請5~6位國際知名傳統醫藥之專家學者作特別演講，除演講外，也將安排這些國外傳統醫藥之講員至國內相關單位參訪，加強彼此交流。所安排課程除中醫藥相關內容外，也安排國際化相關課程，包括WHO, WHA, NGO, NPO之介紹、國際禮儀及組織法規等。使學員有能力積極參與中醫藥國際事務，兩天之中醫藥國際化研討會將全程錄影，並製作500份光碟書交中醫藥委員會存參。
另本計畫擬積極收集WHO及其所屬傳統醫藥合作中心、國際傳統醫學與相關機構組織、學會、教育機構及傳統醫學學術期刊等之名單、地址、網址及活動資料，並架設網站，提供上述搜尋資料，而本計畫也將整理提供過去曾來台參加國際傳統/替代醫藥（CAM/TM）專業訓練營之外國學員及講員聯絡方式，供日後國際合作交流之參考。

Internationazation Personnel Training Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Establishment of Platform for International Cooperation(2-1)

Participation in World Health Assembly and World Health Organization has been the major goal of the people in the nation. Many non-governmental organizations such as Foundation of Medical Professionals Alliance in Taiwan (FMPAT) had been working very hard in the past. The TCM Communities which did not communicate much with international counterparts in the past did not participate in this national campaign. Therefore, international personnel training program in TCM became very important.
In a two year project, this program will offer 3 credits (54 hours) English courses in TCM every year on weekend for Chinese medicine communities including academic staffs, clinical practitioners, industrial personnel and students from related graduate and undergraduate programs. The courses will offer the participants to discuss TCM in English environments. 
For more people to participate, the project will also organize a two days International Symposium on TCM each year. Besides the local speakers, we will also invite 5-6 international famous TM/CAM speakers to share their experience. We will also arrange those foreign speakers to visit related institutes and personnel in TCM communities to enhance their cooperation. The whole session will be conducted in English. Besides TCM titles, the addressed topics will also cover international related issues such as introduction of WHO, WHA, NGO, NPO , International etiquette and organization regulations etc. We hope the participants will be confident to participate in the international TCM related activities. The two day symposium will be video recorded in DVD format and submitted to Committee on Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Department of Health.
This project will also collect information on WHO and the WHO Collaborating Centers for Traditional Medicine, International TM/CAM association or societies, Institutes, Journals including their names, address, websites, and activities offered. These information collected will also be posted on the website we plan to set up. We will also provide the name list with their correspondence address, phone, fax numbers and e-mail address of all participants and speakers who had attended our symposium or workshop in the last few years for future cooperation.
