中華中藥典之化學鑑定方法評估研究

行政院衛生署於民國93年公告中華中藥典,僅收載200種常用中藥之檢驗標準,為配合業界之需求,極需編修增加品項並修正不適合之檢驗方法。過去藥典檢驗方法中常用苯及氯仿等毒性物質,已列入管制較少使用,目前有必要評估與改進薄層層析鑑別中含毒性化學物質的方法,改用其他溶媒取代。
因此,本計畫依衛生署中醫藥委員會年度研究重點「中華中藥典中化學鑑定方法評估」,選定土茯苓等40種使用含毒性化學物質進行薄層層析鑑別之中藥材,及藥廠建議修正鑑別方法之大黃等30種未使用毒性化學物質之中藥材,加以評估分析其方法之可行性與開發建立較安全之溶媒系統,並建立薄層層析圖譜資料,提供中華中藥典編修及中藥業界之參考。

Evaluation of the chemical identification method in Chinese Pharmacopoeia

In 2004, the Department of Health announced the first edition of Taiwanese Herbal Pharmacopeia which contains only 200 items. The number of items was not enough comparing to other countries’ pharmacopeia. Some identification methods were found inadequate by the herbal industries. These defects need to be corrected in the upcoming revised version.
Due to the development of the identification methods and the environmental consciousness, benzene, chloroform and many toxic solvents which had been used very often in the chemical identification of TCM herbs are listed as controlled substance and are seldom used nowadays. Therefore it is necessary to review the identification methods that used toxic solvents and try to develop a new solvent system with safer solvents.
