台灣產茜草科植物美白作用之篩選

本計畫擬就下列所載台灣產茜草科植物選出10種，如被苞仙丹花（Ixora brachiata Roxb.）、紅藤仔草（過山龍，Rubia akane Nakai）、金劍草（Rubia lanceolata Hayata）、林氏茜草（Rubia linii Chao）、台北茜草樹（Randia canthioides Champ. ex Benth）、小梔子（Gardenia jasminoides Ellis f. radicans (Thunb.) Makino）、梔（Gardenia jasminoides Ellis）、定經草（珠仔草, Hedyotis diffusa Willd.）、仙丹花（Ixora stricta Roxb.）、紅珠藤（Morinda parvifolia Bartl.）、毛雞屎藤（Paederia cavaleriei H. Lev.）、台灣鉤藤（倒吊風藤, Uncaria hirsuta Haviland）、咖啡（Coffea arabica Linn.）、檄樹（Morinda citrifolia L.）……等。分別以不同極性之溶媒如乙醇、熱水、稀乙醇及70％丙酮等抽取，以供酪胺酸?活性抑制試驗。分二年進行抑制酪胺酸?活性之篩選，酪胺酸?活性抑制試驗包括1) 以抑制酪胺酸?活性之抑制圈評估，2) 以酪胺酸為基質添加酪胺酸?與測試檢品培養後測定O.D.值，評估其抑制酪胺酸?活性。3) 以B 16 melanoma細胞測定抑制黑色素生合成方法。以開發具美白作用之植物。

Screening of Rubitaceae plants produced in Taiwan for whitening

Polyphenols, a group of compounds possessing a variety of biological activities including anti-oxidation, free radical scavenging and whitening effects, are widely distributed in natural plants of Rubiaceae. In this project, 10 herbs of Rubiaceae which are produced in Taiwan will be selected to screen for whitening uses. These herbs will include Ixora brachiata, Roxb, Rubia lanceolata Hayata, Rubia linii Chao, Randia canthioides Champ. ex Benth, Gardenia jasminoides Ellis f. radicans (Thunb.) Makino）,Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, Hedyotis diffusa Willd., Ixora stricta Roxb., Morinda parvifolia Bartl., Paederia cavaleriei H. Lev., Uncaria hirsuta Haviland, Coffea arabica Linn., and Morinda citrifolia L. etc.Each herb will be extracted with several solvents of different polarity such as ethanol, hot water, diluted ethanol and 70% acetone, respectively.
