衛生福利部「醫療器材援助平台計畫」（GMISS）與彰化基督教醫院攜手合作，於114年4月8日捐贈一只裝載醫療物資的四十呎貨櫃，予巴布亞紐幾內亞Madang 醫院。物資項目包含護理工作車、藥車、手搖病床、嬰兒床，口罩、點滴架等醫療相關器材與設備，期盼提升當地醫院的醫療照護品質，並嘉惠巴紐當地病患。

In April 8, 2025 — The Global Medical Instrument Support and Service Program (GMISS), in collaboration with Changhua Christian Hospital, donated a 40-foot container filled with essential medical supplies to Madang Hospital in Papua New Guinea.

The shipment includes nursing carts, medication trolleys, manual hospital beds, infant cribs, face masks, IV stands, and other critical medical equipment. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of healthcare services at Madang Hospital, reduce the burden on medical staff, and improve patient care for the local community.

The Ministry expressed its hope that this donation will not only strengthen the hospital's medical capacity but also bring tangible benefits to patients in Papua New Guinea, further deepening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
